Brookside out of school care club is Ofsted registered for up to 38 children between the ages of 4 and 12 years term time and ages of 4 and 14 during the holidays.

Before and after school club is open to Brookside pupils and the children of the staff of Brookside, Holiday club is open to all children.

We provide high quality play and care for the children whilst working in partnership with parents and giving peace of mind that we provide a safe, secure and relaxed environment for the children.

Activities in care club we include.

  • Indoor and outdoor activities including the use of the outdoor play areas.
  • Craft activities
  • Role play resources
  • Wii
  • DVD and music
  • Visitor, themed nights and care club council
  • Trips and outings(holiday club)

Deputy Care Club Coordinator: Sarah Walker

Playworkers: Lisa Waddington, Hayley Brand, Jenna Walker, Laura Briggs, Daniel Parker

All Staff are either qualified level 2 or 3 along with up to date paediatric first aid/emergency first aid, safeguarding and food hygiene.

Fees and Admissions

Opening hours Care Club:
Morning: 7.30am to 8.45am £3.00; 7.45am to 8.45am £2.50
(Breakfast available at a small extra cost starting from 10p)
Afternoon: 3.30pm to 6.00pm £6.00 – snack included.

Holiday club 7.45am – 6.00pm
Fees are £19.50 full day or £2 an hour, hours bookable to suit.
Discounts of £5 for full week booked at holiday club.
Packed lunch is required however all other snacks and drinks are
provided including breakfast.
